Q: can you connect the usb c cable to a usb to usb c adapter and connect to a usb port on laptop to get display through?

A: Any USB C Power Supply over 15W compatible with our docking station. It is recommended to refer to the wattage required by the computer.

Q: Is this compatible with the Surface Book 2?

A: Sorry, our USB C dual monitor docking station can not fully compatible with your Surface Book 2 due to the USB-C port of your laptop only support data transfer, NOT for Power delivery and Alt-mode DisplayPort, which means your laptop can't extended monitor and be charged when working with our dual-monitor docking station

Q: I have an hdmi port on my laptop, but also a usb-c port. will i be able to extend my displays using vga in this device and hdmi on the laptop?

A: Please ensure your Type-C port supports Alt Display,then you are able to extend displays using VGA in this USB C to VGA adapter hub and HDMI on the laptop.

Q: is the ethernet for this compatible with phones?

A: This is a USB C OTG adapter, it requires a USB-C phone support OTG feature. We have tested many phone models and found there are some support wire LAN, including Sumsang Galaxy and Huawei P20, P30 series. However, other Android device makers may have removed some drivers from the version of the OS that they ship on their devices, so there's no guarantee that our hub will work with every USB-C phone.
